BUSSE, ALVINA M.

Alvina Busse, of Kaukauna, age 80, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 at Manor Care. She was born January 11, 1928 in Woodville, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Cyrilla (Thiel) Breit. Alvina married James Busse and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1977. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel – St. Mary Site.
Alvina is survived by her son: Dale (Mary Lou) Busse, Kaukauna; daughter: Diane (Thomas) Jansen, Kaukauna; grandchildren: Jamie Busse, Matthew Carnot, Troy (Carrie) Jansen, Tracy (John) Urban and Cheri Wochinski; great-grandchildren: Chloe Urban, Tyler Schmidt and Jade Wochinski; sister: Minerva Simmons, Kenosha and sister-in-law: Mickey Breit, Brillion. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alvina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, son Duane Busse, daughter Donna Busse, brother Ralph Breit and brother-in-law Morris Simmons.
The memorial mass for Alvina will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 12, 2008 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL – ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Inurnment will take place in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass.
