Alvin J. Drousth
Age 90, died on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at Menomonee Falls Health Care Center, where he lived for two years. Alvin was born on August 24, 1913 in Sherwood, WI, the son of the late Joseph and Mathilda (Schydzik). He married Bernice Wiechmann on July 25, 1942, and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage together. They were longtime residents of Sherwood. Alvin was a member of the United States Army serving in World War II and later a member of the American Legion of Sherwood.
Alvin is survived by his daughter, Faye (Leonard) Kasten; his son, Robert (Judith) Drousth; sister, Nancy Reinke, 4 grandchildren, Grant Kasten, Mark (Tamara) Kasten, Nicholas and Alexander Drousth; sister-in-law Isabel Foster. Bernice preceded Alvin in death earlier this year.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor
Ann Barker celebrating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service also at the funeral home. Military Honors will be performed along with a graveside service at High Cliff Cemetery.
