Aloysius P. Mroz

Age 80, died Friday morning, January 31, 2003. He was born July 26, 1922, to the late Peter and Joan (Maj) Mroz, in Chicago, Illinois and had lived in Kenosha before moving to Appleton 20 years ago. Al served with the U. S. Army, under Gen. George Patton, during WW II, in the European Theatre. He was a fanatic Cubs Fan, enjoyed bowling and had been a league member at Hahn’s Lanes. As a card player Al was ever in search of a good Pinochle game. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David (Linda Muldoon) Mroz, Appleton; a sister, Loretta Mroz, Des Plaines, IL; a brother, Eugene (Jane) Mroz, Chicago, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys (King) Mroz, two sisters, Irene Smielewski and Mary Mroz and a brother, Ted Mroz. Funeral services for Aloysius will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 pm (Noon) on Wednesday, until the time of the service.
