Dictus, Alma A.
Alma A. Dictus, age 85, of Kimberly, passed way Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at her home. She was born February 17, 1923, to the late William and Laura (Berghuis) Emmers, in the Town of Buchanan. She became a Kimberly resident following her marriage to Henry Dictus, October 24, 1950. Alma was a member of Holy Spirit Parish-Kimberly, the William Verhagen American Legion Auxiliary Unit #60 and Womens Forester Court #1067. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Dictus; three devoted children, William Dictus, Kimberly; Laura (Jeffrey) Tews, Town of Ellington; Theodore (Teresa) Dictus, Town of Buchanan; seven beloved grandchildren, Benjamin, Matthew, Angela, Billy, Anna, Elliott and Dana; one precious great grandson, Aleckzander Henry; two sisters, Irene Ruys and Rita (Martin) Brock; two sisters-in-law, Vera Van Grinsven and Lucille Dictus. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two in infancy and Erma (Richard) Joosten, three brothers-in-law, Albert Ruys, John Dictus and Joseph Dictus and a sister-in-law, Mary (Clarence) Tushkowski. The funeral liturgy for Alma will be held at 12:00 pm (Noon), Monday, March 24, 2008, at Holy Spirit Parish, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Father David Beaudry officiating. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday, from 10:00 am, until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for the Holy Spirit Endowment Fund.
