Alice Much

Alice (Hooyman) Much, age 97, passed away in Arizona on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Born in Freedom, WI, on May 6, 1924, daughter to the late Herman and Anna Hooyman. Married august 7, 1948 for over 60 years until Nyle’s passing in 2004. She was an excellent bookkeeper at ACE Flooring in Appleton for many years and she was always great with numbers. Alice was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She could talk to anyone and was always friendly. She will be missed greatly by many.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Gloria (Cleo) Moore of Mesa, AZ; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Much of Appleton; seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nyle Much, children, Richard and Kathleen and grandson, Randall Much along with all her siblings.

Mass of Christian burial will be held for Alice at 10:00 Am on Wednesday, December 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (222 E. Fremont St., Appleton). Private family interment will be held after.
