Alice Greene

Alice E (Mohr) Greene entered into Heaven Nov. 7, 2021 at Allouez Parkside Village 2.

She was born Oct. 3rd, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI and proudly lived to see her 100th birthday, celebrating with family twice! The daughter of Erwin and Linda (Bohn) Mohr. She married Robert Greene, the love of her life, Nov 3, 1943. They lived in Milwaukee, WI before moving to Avon Lake, OH, another move to Milwaukee, Appleton, WI, Atlanta, GA., Sheboygan Falls, back to Appleton, WI after Bob’s death & finally to Allouez/Green Bay, WI. Bob & Alice moved where his jobs took him. Alice was a loyal member of Riverview Lutheran Church in Appleton, WI for many years. She loved to sew and knit for her family; was still line dancing and driving at 93 years and getting lost at the new roundabout! She kept her sense of humor till her last days – made her fun to be with.

Alice is survived by her 3 children: Linda (Bill) Braun, Wisconsin; Gary (Kathy) Greene, Colorado; Steven (Carlyn) Greene, Alabama. She is further survived by 6 grandchildren: Staci, Michael, Shelley, Matthew, David and Chrissie and 7 great-grandchildren: Kory, Taylor, Alex, Emily, Adeline, Joey, and Gabbie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert in 1986, her sister & husband Carla & Charles, and her twin brother & wife Robert & Audrey.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 2:30pm with Rev. Dennis Belter officiating at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Superior Street location in Appleton.
