ALICE F. BESCHTA
Menasha
Age 89, died Friday, April 20, 2001, at her home. Alice was born on August 18, 1911, in Kimberly, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ed Werth. She married John G. Beschta; he preceded her in death on January 18, 1981. Alice, along with her husband, were well known for operating a concession stand for many years that visited county fairs. She enjoyed watching motorsports, was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice is survived by her two sons, John L. (Susan) Beschta, Menasha, and Ronald Beschta, Green Bay; her grandchildren, Sheryl (Randy) Jewell, Rhinelander; Cindy (Michael) Schafelke, Menasha; Roxanne (Earl) Clement, Black Creek; Sarah (Jon) Roberston, De Pere; and Allison Beschta, Waukesha; her nine great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Laverne (John) Mueller, Arvada, Colorado; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. A memorial has been established in her name to benefit St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to ThedaCare Home and Respiratory Nurses, Dr. Paul McAvoy and his nurse Sherry, and a special thanks to her primary nurse, Rose.
