Alice C. Schabow

August 12, 1911 — February 2, 2004

Age 92, died Monday, February 2, 2004, at Inn Care West in Minocqua. She was born in Black Creek, WI on August 12, 1911, to Henry and Wilhelmina “Minnie” (nee Nieft) Schabow. She worked as a supervisor at Tuttle Press, where she achieved the Quarter Century Club honor. She moved to Minocqua 1991 and became a member of the United Methodist Church of the Pines and the Ruth Circle.

She is survived by three nieces: Jean (Bob) Bishop, Minocqua; Althea Zurilla, Osage, Iowa; and Betty (Knight) Blank, Fond du Lac; a nephew, James Bartz, Neenah. Further survived by great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Reno and Raymond, and two sisters Adeline and Amanda.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004, at 11 a.m., at the Wichmann/Tri-County Funeral Home, 3212 S. Oneida St., Menasha. Pastor Gary Cole will officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
