Albert E Muller (Al), age 69, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born August 29, 1937, in Plainfield, N.J., the son of Albert G. and Mary (Horan) Muller. The Muller family moved from New Jersey to Big Pine, California, and Al was a graduate of Big Pine High School. He enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he met Angela “Angie” Mathews. They were united in marriage on May 25, 1963, in Exeter, California.
Al and Angie moved to Minnesota where Al attended and was a graduate of the Minnesota School of Business. He began his career in the petroleum industry, and was employed with different companies, Midland, Land O’Lakes, and Farmland over the years.
The Mullers lived in Minnesota; New London, Wisconsin; and South Dakota before moving back to the Fox Valley ten years ago.
Currently, Al was working with his son Greg, and daughters Katie and Melanie, with Exit Elite Realty, where he thoroughly enjoyed his time spent with the Exit team.
He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, computers, photography, card playing, and most importantly spending time with his family
Al is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Angie; his children, Chris Muller, and Pat (Elaine) Muller, all of New London, Katie (Jeff) Gaulrapp, and Greg Muller, all of Appleton, Eric Muller, Milwaukee, Heidi Muller (Daniel Boland), Atlanta, Georgia, Anne (Alex) Lagunes, Neenah, and Melanie Muller, Appleton; his three grandchildren, Courtney, Jessa, and Kieran; his brothers, Frank (Sandra) Muller, Oregon, and John (Donna) Muller, and his sister, Mary (Bob) Kimble, all of San Luis Obispo, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial mass for Albert will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence St., with Father Larry Abler, OFM Cap. as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass.
A memorial fund in Al’s name is being established.
