Age 77, passed away on Friday May 11, 2001. Albert was born on March 17, 1924 the son of the late Theodore (Mary) Baum. Albert attended Toledo University and graduated in 1950 with a degree in organic chemistry and food technology. In 1974 he attended Better Process School at the University of Illinois at Champaign. Albert owned and operated Baum’s Superette in West Bend, WI for 8 years. He was a plant superintendent at Mammoth Spring Canning Co, in Sussex, WI for 5 years and at Stokely Van Camp Inc. in Hoopeston, IL. For 12 years. He retired in 1987 from Stokley in Appleton where he was the plant manager for 9 years.
He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, remodeling houses and taking scenic drives.
Albert is survived by his wife, Rossette; six children, Carolgene (Keith) Henisa, Cathy Schroeder, Randy (Jacci) Helser, Jeff (Virginia) Helser, Jeannette Raymaker and Darrell (Greta) Kaiser; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin, Liane, Amanda, Cory and Dean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Mary, a sister, Helen Baum and his first wife, Carol Jean.
The funeral liturgy will be on Tuesday May 15, 2001 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2220 East College Av.) at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Timothy Spilker officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service (3:00 p.m.). Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
A lifetime is not long enough to spend with the one you love.
