Adeline Pockat, age 89, passed away Monday, February 20, 2006 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Adeline was born September 17, 1916 in Bonduel, daughter of the late William and Amelia (Timm) Lauersdorf. Adeline married Stanley Pockat; he preceded her in death in 1982. For many years, she was an active and faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna.
Adeline is survived by two daughters: Connie Pockat of Appleton and Sharon (Ken) Lass and their children Brett and Brittany, all of Trussville, Alabama; a sister: Leona Juedes of Bonduel; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley in 1982, by sisters Ruth (Arnold) Hoeffs and Esther (LeRoy) Millis; and a brother-in-law Lester Juedes.
The funeral service for Adeline will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Walter Steinbach of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kaukauna officiating. Interment will be in Greenleaf Cemetery near Marion. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be directed to St. Paul Elder Services or Bethany Lutheran Church, both in Kaukauna.
