Adeline I. Case

Formerly of Kimberly, passed away at Comfort Homes Assisted Living on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at the age of 93. Adeline was born in Fall Creek, Wisconsin on September 28, 1910, daughter of the late Heinrich and Anna (Kleist) Schroeder. On April 14, 1940, Adeline married James Case in Fall Creek; he preceded her in death. Adeline was a longtime and faithful member of Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church in Kimberly where she was active with the Altar Guild and the Ladies Aid for several years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who unselfishly devoted her entire life to her family.

Survivors include a daughter: Jean (Gerald) Wyngaard of Kimberly; two sons: James (Mary) Case of Waupaca and John Case of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; five brothers-in-law: Lloyd Osborne, Claude (Delores) Case, Keith (Jean Ann) Case, Sam Case, George (Charlotte) Case; four sisters-in-law: Gladys Baker, Adele Reed, Mary Ellen Hood, Eunice (Jerry) Gouge, as well as many nieces and nephews. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, eight sisters: Mildred Schroeder, Hilda Schroeder, Margaret Schroeder, Edna Myrtle, Adele Larson, Leona Schroeder, Elsie Nechak, and Lorraine Osborne; a brother: Elgart (Louella) Schroeder; a sister-in-law: Hazel Case; two brothers-in-law: Sam Larson and Nick Nechak.

Funeral services for Adeline will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at MT. CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 208 S. Pine Street in Kimberly with Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
