Adam Woodrow Wheelock

Adam Wheelock, age 36, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, after a courageous battle with heart failure. Adam was born in Appleton, WI, on March 29, 1982, the son of Robert and the late Susan (Kuehnl) Wheelock. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with family and friends. Adam loved sitting around the camp fire and telling stories.

Adam is survived by his father: Robert Wheelock; sister: Crystal (Eric); brother: Bradley (Christina) Wheelock; Adam’s three sons: Caleb, Michael and Jackson Wheelock; and his significant other: Amanda Bork. He is further survived by six nieces and nephews, and many, many loving family and friends. A special thank you to Rob’s brothers: Todd Hansen and Jeff Kiefer for loving, teaching, and guiding Adam as if he were their own son. Adam is preceded in death by his mother: Susan Wheelock; his paternal grandparents: Woodrow and Lula Wheelock; and his maternal grandparents: Bill and Laverne Kuhnel.

Please join the family in a celebration of his life the way Adam would have wanted them to at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME LAEMMRICH CHAPEL, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service. The celebration will continue at Waverly Beach, N8770 Fire Lane 1, Menasha, after the service.
